Kellie's castle

Kellie's Castle was meant to be a home away from home for Scottish Planter, William Kellie Smith in the 20th century. Being far away from home, Kellie desired his new residence to be reminiscent of his home back in Scotland. The castle is perched on top of a hill in what used to be a rubber estate.
William Kellie Smith was an interesting man who was popular with his South Indian workers. Kind at heart, he erected a Hindu shrine for his workers on the castle premises. As a token of appreciation, his workers erected a statue of Kellie complete with a white suit and hat.
Construction of this unique castle began in 1915. However, it came to an abrupt halt with Kellie's sudden death in 1926. The solitary castle, looks almost surreal in these wild plantations of Perak, it projects a strong personality and an aura of mystery.

Dear Blog,

Early morning,as usual, we went to eat breakfast with yeye!
then at 10 we fetch kakak from yeye's house and start our journey to cameron
we none let them know that we bring kakak to cameron
if they know ...earthquake!!!
During the way up the hill, raining heavily then sunny then rain again.
so there is nothing to worry about the weather
the top of the hill is fully covered by th mist
very very very beautiful
actually this is my mum's idea to go there
because she want to buy plant
3 of us is sososo boring there lor
we can hear many guys and children grumbling
"all also the same 1"
we heard someone hus said
"you buy all the stupid plants"

my dad face colour also kinda black
my mum bought so many plants and cactus
a hundred times she came before she still got so many plants to buy 1 wor
Everytime the florist tell my mum this cactus can grow flower 1
her eyes will grow until very very big
means that she is very keen to know more and the good news for the florist is she will buy that cactus
once she bought a cactus form there too
with a flower on it
when we reach home the flower drop
oh gosh ...the florist just stick the flower on it..
mamamia...

actually we don't want to stay a night there
but A Theng say want to swim in the hotel
so we book equatorial
humph the indoor swimming pool is damn small
so we didn't swim lor
then we ask for extra 2 towels
AND we have to pay RM5 each!
do you ever heard that extra towel need to be charge???
bad bad bad service

6 of us sleep a room
my dad pull down the bed so there will be 4 bed
kakak and A theng sleep each and 4 of us share 2 bed
a theng sleep beside me then suddenly midnight I found that she is not there le
mana tau she sleep with kakak...
you know,A hua told me before
in the hotel cannot leave a empty bed 1
and now there's a empty bed beside me

oh my god...
I start thinking all the nonsense already lor
got a ghost story
a lady got kill in the room on the bed
then the maid just turn over the bed
and when ppl sleep, the bed always move and move
because the soul got trap under it and trying to come out
when my friends ask me tell them ghost stories I can't think even one
but now all come out to my head
charm .....
at last i wake kakak up and ask her sleep on the empty bed

FINALLY i can sleep soundly...
